Squixr Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Antiluna AB, a limited company registered in Sweden under company registration number 559585-5403, with its address at Södra Aspövägen 9C, 549 60 Skövde, Sweden ("Antiluna", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of Squixr, including the website squixr.com, related domains, apps, features, content and services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box at sign-up, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, our Creator Terms and our Age and Safety Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be waived or limited under the mandatory law that applies to you. Where these Terms say that something applies "to the maximum extent permitted by law", it applies only to that extent.
1. Who may use Squixr
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Service. If you are under 16, you must not use the Service.
- You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and must not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
- You must not use the Service if we have previously suspended or terminated your account, unless we have given you express written permission.
- You confirm that all information you give us, including your date of birth, is true, accurate and complete, and you will keep it up to date. Providing a false date of birth is a material breach of these Terms.
- If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" includes that organisation.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, and for keeping your password, sign-in methods and devices secure.
- You must not share, sell, transfer or rent your account, or let anyone else use it.
- You must tell us immediately at hello@antiluna.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- We may refuse, reclaim or change any username at any time, including usernames that infringe the rights of others, impersonate someone, are misleading or are offensive.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antiluna is not responsible for any loss caused by unauthorised use of your account, unless that loss is caused by our own breach of these Terms.
3. The Service
- Squixr is a social platform that lets users publish posts, images and videos on the Wall, take part in forums, join and run Spaces, chat privately and in World Chat, play games, collect badges, use virtual items and interact with AI features.
- The Service is provided free of charge, except for optional purchases of virtual items described in section 9.
- We continuously develop the Service. We may add, change, suspend or remove any feature, content, virtual item or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including features you have used or paid virtual items for. Where a change materially and negatively affects paid digital content you have bought, we will act in accordance with mandatory consumer law.
- We do not guarantee that the Service, or any feature, will be available at any particular time or location, or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
- We may set and change limits on the Service, such as storage, upload size, video length, rate limits and the number of posts, messages or Spaces.
- The Service may be temporarily closed for maintenance, security or other reasons.
4. Your content
Ownership
You keep any ownership rights you have in the text, images, videos, audio, links, comments, messages and other material you post, upload, send or otherwise make available through the Service ("Your Content").
Licence to Antiluna
By making Your Content available through the Service, you grant Antiluna a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, cache, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize, compress, transcode or crop), translate, analyse, publish, publicly display, perform, distribute and otherwise use Your Content, in any media now known or later developed, for the purposes of operating, providing, securing, moderating, analysing, improving, developing and promoting the Service.
- covers automated processing of Your Content, including analysis by machine-learning and AI systems for moderation, safety, recommendations, duplicate and re-upload detection, and AI features such as the Zelda agent;
- allows us to show Your Content to other users according to the visibility settings you choose and the settings of the Spaces you post in;
- ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except where Your Content has been shared with or by others, forms part of a conversation with other participants, is retained in backups for a limited period, or must be kept to comply with law, enforce these Terms, resolve disputes or protect the safety of users or the public.
Your responsibility for Your Content
- You are solely responsible for Your Content and for the consequences of posting it.
- You confirm that you own Your Content or have all rights, licences, consents and permissions needed to post it and to grant the licence above, including the consent of every identifiable person shown in it.
- You confirm that Your Content does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, and does not break any law or our Community Guidelines.
- When you choose a usage-rights option for a post (such as standard, remix allowed or a Creative Commons licence), you grant other users the corresponding rights in that content, and you confirm that you are entitled to do so.
- We do not pre-screen all content and have no obligation to monitor the Service. We are not responsible for Your Content or for content posted by other users.
Content of others
Content on the Service is created by users and other third parties. It does not represent the views of Antiluna, and we do not endorse, verify or guarantee its accuracy, legality or quality. You use and rely on content of others at your own risk.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow our Community Guidelines. In addition, you must not:
- break any law or regulation, or encourage anyone else to do so;
- post or share illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, content that incites violence or hatred, or content that infringes intellectual property;
- harass, threaten, bully, stalk, defame, dox or impersonate anyone;
- send spam, run scams, fraud, pyramid or phishing schemes, or post misleading advertising;
- collect, scrape, harvest or mine data or content from the Service by automated means, or use the Service or its content to train AI or machine-learning models, without our prior written consent;
- access the Service by any means other than our published interfaces, or interfere with, overload, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service or bypass any security, rate limit, access control or App Check measure;
- upload viruses, malware or any harmful code;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- create accounts by automated means, create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, or manipulate rankings, votes, referrals, rewards, leaderboards or the in-app economy;
- buy, sell, trade or transfer accounts, usernames, virtual items or rewards outside the features we provide;
- use the Service for commercial purposes, advertising or sponsorship that we have not approved, except through features we provide for that purpose.
6. Moderation and enforcement
- We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, review, restrict the visibility of, label, age-gate, demote, remove or refuse to publish any content, and restrict, suspend or terminate any account or feature access, where we believe in good faith that content or conduct breaches these Terms, our Community Guidelines or the law, or creates risk or possible legal exposure for Antiluna, our users or others.
- Moderation may be carried out by people, by automated tools or by a combination of both. Automated tools include word and pattern filters, rate limits, similarity and re-upload detection, and AI-based analysis.
- Space owners and moderators can also moderate content inside their Spaces under these Terms. Antiluna is not responsible for moderation decisions made by Space owners or moderators, but we may override them.
- Where required by the EU Digital Services Act, we will give you a statement of reasons when we restrict your content or account, and you can challenge our decision as described in section 7.
- We may preserve and disclose content and account information to law enforcement, authorities or third parties where we believe in good faith that this is required by law or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Antiluna, our users or the public.
7. Reporting illegal content and appealing decisions
- Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaches our rules using the report function in the Service, or by email to hello@antiluna.com. A report should explain why the content is illegal, identify the content (for example by link), include the reporter's name and email address (unless the report concerns child sexual abuse material), and include a statement that it is made in good faith.
- We process reports in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner, and inform the reporter of our decision where we have their contact details.
- If we remove or restrict your content or account, you can ask us to review the decision within six months by replying to the decision notice or emailing hello@antiluna.com. We will review it and tell you the outcome.
- You may also refer a dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under the Digital Services Act, or bring proceedings in court. Consumers resident in Sweden may also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN).
- Single point of contact for authorities under the Digital Services Act: hello@antiluna.com (English or Swedish).
- We may suspend the processing of reports or appeals from anyone who frequently submits manifestly unfounded reports or appeals.
8. Recommendations, ranking and advertising
- The content you see on the Wall, in feeds, in suggestions and in search is selected and ordered by automated systems. The main parameters are recency, engagement (such as likes, votes, comments and views), the Spaces you have joined, the people you follow or are connected to, your stated interests and your activity, together with safety and quality signals. Content can also be promoted through sponsored posts, featured spots and Space settings.
- You can influence what you see by following or unfollowing people, joining or leaving Spaces, changing your interests, hiding suggestions and adjusting your settings.
- The Service may show advertising, sponsored posts and featured content. Advertising is labelled as such. Third-party advertising cookies are only used with your consent. We do not show advertising based on profiling to users we know to be under 18.
- Antiluna is not responsible for the products, services, websites or claims of advertisers, sponsors or other users. Any dealings you have with them are solely between you and them.
9. Virtual items, Gems and purchases
- The Service includes virtual items such as Gems, Nuggets, gifts, sticker packs, profile effects, badges, collectibles, sponsored posts and featured spots ("Virtual Items"). Some Virtual Items can be earned, and Gems can also be bought with real money through our payment provider Stripe.
- Virtual Items are licensed, not sold. When you obtain a Virtual Item, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use it within the Service. You do not own Virtual Items and they are not your property.
- Virtual Items have no monetary value, are not money, e-money, securities or any kind of financial instrument, cannot be redeemed for money or anything of monetary value, and cannot be transferred, sold or traded except through features we provide inside the Service.
- Prices are shown in the Service before purchase and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Right of withdrawal: Gems and other paid Virtual Items are digital content that is delivered immediately. By completing a purchase you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has started, to the extent permitted by the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act and EU consumer law.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by mandatory law or where we decide otherwise at our sole discretion. Chargebacks or payment reversals may lead to removal of the related Virtual Items and suspension of your account.
- We may change, re-price, limit or discontinue any Virtual Item, and we may manage, regulate, adjust or remove Virtual Items in your account, including to correct errors or to address fraud, abuse or breaches of these Terms, without liability to you.
- If your account is suspended or terminated for a breach of these Terms, or deleted by you, all Virtual Items in your account are forfeited without compensation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Rewards from referrals, events, games and easter eggs are promotional, discretionary and may be withdrawn, limited or reversed at any time, in particular where we suspect abuse.
10. AI features
- The Service includes AI features, including the AI agent "Zelda", which is clearly labelled as an AI and is not a human. AI features use third-party AI models, currently provided by OpenAI.
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, biased or inappropriate, and may not reflect the views of Antiluna. It is provided for entertainment and general information only. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical or any other advice, and you must not rely on it.
- When you interact with AI features, for example by mentioning Zelda or posting content that Zelda responds to, the relevant text and images are sent to our AI provider to generate the response, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antiluna is not liable for AI-generated content or for any decision you make based on it.
11. Private messages and encryption
- Direct and group chats use end-to-end encryption for message content in supported clients. This means we cannot read the content of those messages. We do process metadata such as participants, timestamps and delivery data.
- Because of end-to-end encryption, messages may be permanently lost if you lose access to all your trusted devices or keys. We cannot recover them.
- Messages you send become part of a conversation that other participants keep access to, even if you later delete your account.
- Files shared in chat may be deleted automatically after a limited period.
- World Chat and other public or semi-public rooms are not end-to-end encrypted and are visible to other users.
12. Intellectual property of Antiluna
- The Service, including its software, design, logos, the names Squixr and Antiluna, graphics, badges, games, Virtual Items and all content we provide (excluding Your Content), is owned by or licensed to Antiluna and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
- If you send us feedback, ideas or suggestions, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them for any purpose without compensation or attribution.
13. Copyright and intellectual property complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, report it through the report function or email hello@antiluna.com with: your contact details; identification of the protected work; the location (link) of the infringing content; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised; and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We may remove content and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
14. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on and links to third-party services, websites and content, including sign-in with Google and Apple, payments by Stripe, hosting and infrastructure providers, advertising networks and embedded media. These are governed by their own terms and policies. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antiluna is not responsible for third-party services, websites or content, or for any loss arising from your use of them.
15. Disclaimers
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service, all content and all Virtual Items are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties, conditions or representations of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy or reliability.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that content or data will be preserved or not lost, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.
- You use the Service at your own risk. You are responsible for backing up any content you wish to keep. We have no obligation to store, maintain or provide you with a copy of any content.
- If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights regarding digital content and services that is not in conformity with the contract. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
16. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antiluna, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, content, Virtual Items, or for any other intangible loss, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, however caused and on any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antiluna is not liable for the conduct, content or communications of users or third parties, whether online or offline, or for any unauthorised access to or alteration of your content or data.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Antiluna for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Antiluna for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) five hundred Swedish kronor (SEK 500).
- These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or to your mandatory rights as a consumer.
- Antiluna is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party providers, internet or power failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes or acts of authorities.
17. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Antiluna, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to Your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party. If you are a consumer, this applies only to the extent that the loss was caused by your own fault.
18. Suspension, termination and account deletion
- You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through the account settings. Deletion is processed in stages and may take some time to complete. Certain information is retained after deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or the law, if required by law or an authority, if your account has been inactive for an extended period, if continued provision would create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Where the Digital Services Act requires it, we will give you a statement of reasons.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination survive it, including sections 4 (licence for content that remains on the Service), 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17, 20 and 21.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service or the law. We will publish the updated Terms with a new version and date. If a change is material, we will notify you in the Service or by email in advance, and may ask you to accept the new version before you continue using the Service. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
20. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
- Any dispute will be settled by the Swedish general courts, with Skaraborg District Court (Skaraborgs tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
- If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Nothing in this section deprives you of those rights.
- Before starting legal proceedings, please contact us at hello@antiluna.com so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.
21. General
- These Terms, together with the documents referred to in them, are the entire agreement between you and Antiluna regarding the Service and replace any earlier agreements.
- If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
- You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations, in whole or in part, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, provided this does not reduce your rights as a consumer.
- These Terms do not create any partnership, agency, employment or fiduciary relationship. No third party has any right to enforce these Terms.
- These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
